There is plenty to amuse children during their stay in County Clare, the long sandy beaches, patrolled by lifeguards are enjoyable and safe places to play for the day, whether bathing body boarding or building sand castles its all fun.
Pony trekking on these beaches or on quiet county lanes is a sheer delight for all the family and later a round of pitch ‘n’ putt will finish to day nicely.
Petting farm animals really brings a smile to children’s faces, see them light up at the numerous pet farms dotted across the county.
Swimming pools are great for all weathers; there are great pool facilities in Ennis and Shannon and at the seaside resorts along the coast line. The indoor pool at Kilkee has a bubble pool, shower geysers, the 'lazy river ride' and a 61m crystal tower slide. Lahinch has an aquarium along side theirs and Ennis Leisure Complex indoor attractions in addition to the pool include, a games room and climbing wall.
