Ennis Street Festival     Early July A one day street festival with street entertainment, street performances and lots more.

Willie Clancy Summer School     Early July The Willie Clancy Summer School of traditional music promotes the practice of Irish traditional music, song and dance through six days of intense workshops. The practical dimension is augmented by lectures on various aspects of the tradition.

Ennistymon Family Festival     Mid July Ennistymon Festival is a family orientated festival based around children's activities during the day and music events for adults at night. There will also be a collaboration with visual artists in the locality who will exhibit work at a venue in the town.



Wild West Music In The Marquee     Mid July A three day music festival for all the family that also includes road cart races, family fun day, BBQ's, Bonny baby competition, Bucking bronco, Wheel of fortune, helium ballon race, bouncy castles, Pony rides, lucky dips and much more.

LoopHead Gathering Festival     Mid July This annual festival aims to gather people to celebrate with us our cultural and traditional events,over a week. This includes open air dancing, traditional music, singing, art displays, sporting activities , currach racing and much more.

Doonbeg Family Festival     Early August For more than 30 years theFamily Festival, held during the second week in August, has been a part of Doonbeg's rich tradition. Young and old, visitor and local, enjoy the fun and entertainment this event provides. Some of the activities include a cultural parade, barbeque, talent contest, children's fancy dress competition and the once seen, never forgotten, donkey derby.

Scariff Harbour Festival     Early August A three day open air street based events Festival with the aims of highlighting attractions and amenities of Lough Derg, the inland waterways and the east Clare countryside and promoting cross border cultural and political exchanges with Northern Ireland.



Feakle International Traditional Music Festival     Early August A week of music, song, dance with concerts, Ceili's, workshops, lectures, recitals, singing and sessions. The Festival is based in the homely village of Feakle, East Clare, Co. Clare, Ireland. The Feakle Music Festival has its origins within the rich array of musical talents that abound on the East Clare area. From the era of the house dance, through the Hall dances and pub sessions - a rich tradition has been maintained and strengthened thus emanating in a very successful Music Festival. The Festival started some years ago in 1988 and has gone from strength to strength. It is now respected worldwide as one of the best of it's kind in the country.

Eigse Mrs Crotty Traditional Music Festival Kilrush     Mid August Mrs Elizabeth Crotty was a pioneer of the Fleadh Cheoil movement. Her concertina music continues to inspire hundreds of enthusiasts throughout the 'Irish Music World'. This traditional music festival offers lectures, concertina and set dancing classes, open air ceilis and singing workshops. It offers open air ceilis, concertina and fiddle workshops, concerts and plenty ceol agus craic!!!.
